Our Story:

We opened our first restaurant in 1965 in the streets of Kolkata. The very first day, we sold three meals for three annas. The journey continues as we crossed the seven seas to establish our first outlet in Ireland in 1997.

No doubt, foodguru owes its humble beginnings to the founder members and the forefathers who had one small food stall but a great vision. They were the original pioneers of the recipes you see in store today with many people coming from afar just for a taste of our home made, hand crafted curries.
